Sherard Clinkscales is a veteran leader in college athletics with a diverse background as a player, coach, scout, and administrator. A former standout pitcher at Purdue and 1992 MLB Draft pick by the Kansas City Royals, he later held scouting roles with the Braves and Rays and coached at Notre Dame. He transitioned into athletic administration with roles at the NCAA and NC State before serving as Director of Athletics at Indiana State from 2016 to 2023. In 2024, he became Senior Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Revenue Officer at UIC, where he leads external operations and revenue generation. Clinkscales is recognized for his strategic leadership and dedication to student-athlete development.
